“I Don Kill Am Finally!” — 16-Year-Old Boy Allegedly Kills 35-Year-Old Neighbour for Cult Promotion

A 16-year-old boy, identified as Ejike Chinonso, has reportedly confessed to killing his 35-year-old female neighbour, Esther Ijeoma Obasi, allegedly in a bid to gain promotion to a higher rank in his cult group.

According to reports, the teenager attacked the woman after she had reportedly given him food to eat because his mother was not around and he was hungry.

The incident reportedly took a horrifying turn hours later after the boy had finished eating the food.

He allegedly attacked Esther and stabbed her several times until she collapsed and died.

The teenager was then said to have dragged the woman’s body into a bush at the back of their residence, where he allegedly attempted to conceal the corpse in a swamp.

The suspect was subsequently apprehended, and during questioning, he reportedly confessed to the killing.

In his alleged confessional statement, the 16-year-old reportedly told the police that he killed Esther because he wanted to be promoted to a higher rank within his cult group.

The teenager was also said to have allegedly bragged after carrying out the act, saying, “I don kill am finally!”

The shocking incident has sparked outrage and concern over the involvement of minors in cult-related activities and the extent to which young people can be influenced to commit violent crimes.

The police are expected to continue investigations into the circumstances surrounding Esther Ijeoma Obasi’s death and establish whether other persons linked to the alleged cult group were involved.

The suspect is expected to face the appropriate legal process following the conclusion of investigations.
